I’ve been to many sushi restaurants around Burlingame and I’ve found my favorite. I love the California deluxe sushi roll, really tasty and always fresh. My favorite part is that it’s a good sushi size, the roll is not too big, just the perfect bite. The staff is also great and very friendly.
My husband and I went to Fuumi last night, and it was delightful. We had sushi, so I cannot comment on their other dishes. This restaurant was able to accommodate my gluten-free allergy (which is hard for me to find). I appreciate their efforts, and the food was awesome. We had the Omakase, and they do not skim you on fish, big pieces, and very fresh. We also had some rolls, and the standout one was the cherry blossom roll! If you are looking for great sushi in Burlingame, stop looking and go to Fuumi.
I’ve been to this restaurant many times and tried a variety of their offerings. All were well-composed, well-plated, and very delicious. My faves are the Fuumi Combo, Kimchi Ramen, Chirashi Don, Salmon Teriyaki Bento, and the Agedashi Tofu. The sashimi quality is great. And the menu is extensive, with something for everyone.
